PeaceCamp Initiative Founder Robert Kent was honored to receive Ben & Jerry's 2008 Peace Pioneer Award, which they instituted in conjunction with rolling out the flavor "Imagine Whirled Peace". Among other press we got at the time, we got a great cover story in the local paper. The award - a ginormous cardboard check for $10,000 - was presented by Maggie Gyllenhaal at the Ben & Jerry's in Times Square, and made possible some of our first scholarships,

The PeaceCamp Initiative founder Robert Kent has been named the 2016 Humanitarian of the Year by the Small Business Council of America. We'll have more details to share after the awards dinner on May 4th.
